I'll try cover most questions I get asked leading up to a Helmet Design, If some information you require is still missing please do not hesitate to contact us!
Can you paint any helmet?
Most Helmets yes - Motorcycle, Karting, Car, Open Face, Motocross, BMX, MTB, Ski all have been painted and the principal is the same.
However the better condition the Helmet, the better the finish. (We paint helmets, we DO NOT repair helmets). A few stone chips and minor surface scratches are fine, we understand that happens and can take those out no problem. We don't fix miracles and badly damaged helmets that have been down the road.
Best finish is on a plain Colour Helmet, i.e. black or white. However we can still paint over factory or previous designs.
What do you need from me?
Your ideas. Relax, if your not the most creative person it doesn't matter, thats what we are here for. Some customers have their design already in there head or down on paper and know exactly what they want. Others have no idea. But just give us colours you like, styles, maybe a design you've seen or found that you would like to base it on. Once we have the ball rolling it all comes together.
How long does it take?
Digital design work can be done within a day or two.
Once we receive your Helmet, we prepare it, paint it, lacquer finish it and leave to dry. So usual periods we can have your helmet back within 3/4 weeks (Sometimes Sooner). Busy periods i.e Christmas it may be longer but when you make contact with us we will give you a more accurate timeframe.
How much does it cost?
Prices for a Helmet Paint job vary for every customer, it comes down to how complex the design is and the materials, effects required. Every job has the same care and attention just some will take much longer than others.

How do I get my Helmet to you?
Box up safe and sound, add in any relevant information and post to us via courier or Royal Mail.
We personally use Interlink Express to return your helmet but there are many other decent Couriers out there.
Make sure you get tracking or signed for delivery if you can.
Alternatively you can personally deliver to us if you are Bristol Local. You can find our address on 'Contact page'. Please note - Customers pay for all shipping charges.
Do you offer sponsorship?
Unfortunately not. Racing is an expensive game we know, but please respect what we do and understand it takes a lot of time, care & attention to create your masterpiece.
As much as we would absolutely love to help out we are only a small run operation and work extremely hard at what we do. We know our prices are very competitive and are the best we can offer.
Do you supply Helmets & Accessories?
Yes, if you like we can supply you with any new crash helmet or accessory to go with it, i.e Visor, spoilers. We will give you the best price we can but not always cheaper than you may find yourselves.
Also payment would need to be taken upfront for this and please please make sure you are 100% on sizing beforehand.
Do I need to remove the Visor, padding and any stickers?
No, you don't have to do anything to your helmet. We actually prefer you sending them with the visor so we can take pictures of your Helmet complete afterwards.
I saw a design online, can you copy it?
Not really to be honest, other artists would not be happy as I guess neither would I. If its something you really like then we will do our best to get it as close as possible but with your own spin on it!
Replicas i.e Simoncelli, Senna we can make an exception!
